Get your jab
UNPAID carers are being urged to take advantage of their right to a free flu jab.
Fishponds-based charity Carers Support Centre says people who look after someone who would be put at risk should they fall ill can be given a free vaccine at their local surgery or pharmacy.
Carers Support centre GP Carers Liaison Manager Ann Tolaini said: “If you are looking after someone with an illness or disability, you may be concerned about how being ill will affect you and the person you care for.
“If you are the main carer for an elderly or disabled person who may be put at risk if you fall ill, you should be offered a free flu jab.
